The Islamic World get together for Yemen in Istanbul The “International Humanitarian Aid Conference for Yemen” is to be held in Istanbul on August 14-15, 2015. The Islamic World, NGOs and Academians get together for Yemen. The organizators are; The Union of NGOs of Islamic World, World Muslim Youth Corporation, International Masajed Council, Organization of Islamic Cooperation and Yemen Humanitarian Aid Federation.
The UNIW has founded for representing the Civil Union of Islamic Word and today after the 7th General Assembly Meeting, our mission has got the new level. Now UNIW members have been increased to 303, from 58 different countries from all over the world and will continiu to grow in near future.
We are living in an unjust world today. Unfortunatelly the Muslims are most oppressed majority. They never get benefit from the Universal Fundamental Rights and Freedoms which is under the UN umbrella.
We are sadly observing how the law is corrupted in Egypt. The repressive regime is doing everything to declare its constitutional monarchy. The International Community is acting like they “see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil”, disregarding all Universal Values.
Within an illegal civil war, the attempt to create an unstable atmosphere continues in Yemen where flowing blood tries to wipe out legitimacy. In this country that has been besieged by the evil-minded, international law is being violated, and legitimacy gets damaged in an irreparable way. Violations that are hidden from the international media drive Yemeni people into civil war and instability.
The Association of Islamic Unity that is active in Lebanon paid a visit and informed the Atty. Ali KURT, Secretary-General of UNIW. Evaluations were made on the state of affairs in Lebanon.
The Middle East has been shaken again after a decision far from legitimacy. The death warrant of Mohammed Mursi is a shame for firstly the Islamic World and humanity. We have observed again what a consequence the community faces with when their choices are not approved by the Western powers.
Humanitarian Aid Platform Yemen Meeting Historical tensions in Yemen in which domestic peace is blocked by foreign forces have led to conflicts again. The country has denominational fraction and military conflicts in spite of the Islamic unity. All parts of the social structures in Yemen are face to face with the risks of hunger and mass death due to the domestic war and foreign interventions.
Humanitarian Aid Platform 9th Consultation and Coordination Meeting gathered under the umbrella of UNIW by taking the crisis of humanity in Yemen as top agenda, and then Syria and Nepal and Middle Africa.
