Representatives of the Asian-African Cooperation Council Visited UNIW

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Asian-African Cooperation Council, Munir Said and the delegation visited the Union of NGOs of the Islamic World (UNIW) on 6 February 2019.

The chairman of the Board of Directors of the Asian-African Cooperation Council Munir Said and his accompanying team visited the UNIW headquarters and met UNIW secretary general Ali Kurt. He told Ali Kurt about their activities in Africa and gave detailed information about two projects.

Munir Said, offered “Cooperation and Development Forum” project, by organizing this forum they can bring together the communities from all over the world similar Turkish communities in Istanbul.

Secondly, Said provided information about the project they want to accomplish, they want to organize a youth forum titled “Youth and Development in Turkey” under the name of “Asia Africa Youth Assembly” at the end of March 2019 in Istanbul with in cooperation of young UNIW.

During the meeting, UNIW secretary General Ali Kurt appreciated the projects of the Asian-African Cooperation Council and their work. Kurt continued to talk and gave information about the International African Congress of UNIW will be held in 2019 and presented a draft program. Kurt also said that he is waiting for their consideration on this congress.
