Short Introduction
İlim Yayma Society is a charity organization which has been serving in the light of national and moral values since it was established on October 11 1951. Our Charity has established the first Vocational Religious School where promising generations have been studying on October 17 1951. In the next years, İlim Yayma Society has added more than 100 Vocational Religious Schools to the our nation’s education, as a result of beneficial works, our charity has gained “Status of Public Benefit Association” with the decision of the council of ministers. Today in Turkey, our Charity hosts within the approximately 25,000 students in 185 student residence and 174 branches where there are beneficial works done for the public. At the same time, İlim Yayma Society has given scholarships to thousands of successful students in need since its establishment.

Yusuf Tulun
He was born in 1953 at Tekirdağ. He graduated from Istanbul University, Faculty of Economics, Institute of Journalism and Public Relations. He also served as Şişli District Secretariat, Chairman of Sarıyer District, and Vice President of İstanbul Province. He worked as a Deputy Mayor for Bağcılar Municipality and Metropolitan Municipality Council, Sarıyer Municipality and Metropolitan Municipality Consultant. He speaks French and Arabic. He is married and has four children.
