Laznas Dewan Da’wah Islamiyah Indonesia was founded by the 5th Prime Minister of Indonesia, Dr. Mohammad Natsir in 1967, with the support of Indonesian Ministry of Religious Affairs. Organization Da'wa LAZIS was known as a very capable in humanitarian aid activities in 2002. It carries out activities in the areas of urgent aid, rehabilitation, education and social services.

Ade Salamun Basri
Ade Salamun Basir was born in 1973 in Indonesia. Basri studied at the State University of Jakarta, where he received his BA at the Faculty of Education. He later received his master's degree in Social Development from the University of Muhammadiyah, Jakarta.
Basri is working voluntarily for Muslims to enhance the understanding of worship, morality, social life and to have a better view of the outside world.
For this purpose, he carries out projects in various fields such as resource development in the axis of zakat, poverty reduction, and social development as an executive in Dewan Da’wah, which is operating in economic, political and cultural issues and was founded by Mohammad Natsir, the first Prime Minister of Indonesia, in 1967.
Dewan Da’wah is an important organization that conducts invitations and communiqués in almost every region of Indonesia. Dewan Da’wah trains qualified inviters in its own educational institutions, employs them in different centers and carries out humanitarian activities too.
He is a member of Supervisory Board of the Union of NGOs of the Islamic World, UNIW. He speaks intermediate English. He is married and has four children.
