Women’s Global Coalition for Quds and Palestine – WGCQP visited UNIW

We met with Dr. Aisha Belhajar, Secretary General of the Women's Global Coalition for Quds and Palestine (WGCQP) for the Maghreb Region and a member of the High Advisory Board of the UNIW International Family Institute, and her accompanying delegation.

The delegation included Sana Muhammed, the Coalition's Regional Affairs Director; Samia Hamri, a former Algerian MP and member of the "Star of Palestine" (Nejm Filastin – Algerian Women Stand by Palestine) Association; and Fatma Faiza, the Coalition's Turkish Communications Officer.

During the meeting, we learned about the work of the Coalition, which advocates for the cause of Palestine and Quds at the international level and supports Palestinian women's resistance and struggle for rights. In this context, the importance of women's activities based on justice, freedom, and human rights for global solidarity was emphasized.
